As the founder of My Tax Fella, Anthony has been helping individuals and businesses take control of their finances since 2001. What started as a small tax preparation business has grown into a full-service accounting firm with multiple locations across New York and New Jersey, serving over 2,000+ clients and counting.
But Anthony’s mission goes beyond just filing taxes—he’s on a mission to change how people think about accounting. With over two decades of experience, he’s built a reputation for making tax strategies simple, approachable, and even (dare we say) fun. Whether he’s guiding a small business through tax planning, representing a client before the IRS as an Enrolled Agent, or helping individuals maximize their refunds, Anthony is all about delivering real results with a personal touch.
Mary Nagy is CFO & Integrator at My Tax Fella, at the firm since 2018. After graduating with honors from Rutgers University, she began her career at Alliance-Bernstein, rose to Assistant Manager of the Financial Control Team and later, Financial Analyst until her first child was born in 2005. She will always cherish her twelve years as a stay-at-home mom to her two children, during which time she was an active volunteer in school and cub scouts. She enjoys running, cheering on Rutgers Scarlet Knights football with her daughter in the marching band, and planning Disney trips with her family.
Jessica is an Administrative Assistant at My Tax Fella, bringing strong organizational skills and a passion for helping others. She studied Nursing at East Stroudsburg University before earning her Bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University. Prior to joining the team, she worked as an Executive Assistant for a general contracting firm in Red Bank before stepping into the role of full-time mom. An active volunteer and former PTO board member, Jessica is a creative multitasker who loves traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and two Great Danes.
Mike joined My Tax Fella’s bookkeeping team in October 2024, bringing experience from various accounting firmsand private company bookkeeping. He earned his Bachelor’s in Education from St. John’s University and has also prepared individual tax returns, though he found his passion in full-time bookkeeping. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, as well as logic puzzles and cross-stitching.
As the Customer & Public Relations Lead at My Tax Fella, Samantha is dedicated to delivering exceptional client service with optimism and positivity. A Monmouth University graduate with a degree in Communication, Journalism, and Public Relations, she previously served as head editor for an online publication and has contributed to multiple media outlets. Outside of work, Samantha is an avid reader, loves new adventures, and enjoys spending time with her loved ones. She’s always looking for new challenges to grow and expand her knowledge.
Gabrielle comes to MyTaxFella with years of payroll experience and is ready to help where ever she can! She currently helps with onboarding new clients and getting their payroll ran smoothly. As a new stay at home mom, Gabrielle enjoys spending her free time with her husband, son, and their crazy puppy, Georgie. She especially loves summertime and spends most of it at her family’s shore house and on the beach!
Ravi specializes in payroll setup and processing, sales tax registration and filing, and bookkeeping for clients. He also assists with financial statements, CPA review reports, PPP loan applications, and Workers' Compensation audits. With prior experience as a Controller, Ravi has a strong background in general accounting, payroll, and financial management. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening, and cherishes time with his wife and two kids.
Jo Ann has worked at My Tax Fella for the past 18 years, now mainly working on payroll and audits. Any probelm with unemployment, workers comp and disability audits, notices from the IRS/various states, RPIE filings, she is your go-to.
Over the years, she has worked on bookkeeping, sales tax, a political campaign and numerous other jobs. She is a widow with two successful sons; a Project Manager in the HVAC industry and the Pastor of Blessed Trinity Parish in Breezy Point, Queens NY. Jo loves working on computers and programs, is an avid reader and loves spending time in PA at her house.
Since joining My Tax Fella in December 2020, Dawn has been the friendly and knowledgeable face welcoming clients while also managing supplies and inventory at our Staten Island Bradshore location. She began her career on Wall Street at 19, later taking time off to raise her four children while also working as a hairdresser and retail manager. A true multitasker, Dawn takes on any challenge head-on. In her free time, she enjoys family time, the gym, cooking, and volunteering.
Lexiss is an administrative assistant with a background in both the medical field and the arts. With strong organizational skills and a creative mindset, Lexiss brings a unique blend of structure and innovation to their work. Outside of the office, they enjoy practicing various forms of art and exploring creative expression.
Paige has been with the My Tax Fella team since 2022, and is the Front Desk recptionist at our Driggs Street location. Over the years, she has had her hand in a few different jobs but her favorite will always be being a mom to her twin daughters. At Driggs, she helps schedule appointments, review letters we receive, and maintains the office as a whole. Outside of work, Paige loves spending time with her family and friends.
After 34 years with a prominent mental health facility, Josephine joined My Tax Fella in March 2021, bringing her organization, resourcefulness, and adaptability to the team. She assists wherever needed, from customer service to staff support, always maintaining a friendly and professional approach. In her spare time, Josephine enjoys family, word games, bargain shopping, and cooking—her favorite sport!
Timothy is passionate about helping individuals and small business owners improve their financial well-being. With a strong background in accounting and tax, he provides expert advice, professionalism, and peace of mind to his clients.
Lina is a dedicated member of My Tax Fella’s accounting team, bringing 18 years of experience in the field. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of Staten Island and specializes in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and filing sales and payroll tax returns for businesses and individuals. Outside of work, Lina enjoys spending time with family and friends.
With a decade of experience in administration within the accounting industry, Carmella excels in organization and management, keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. She has also worked as a licensed NYS career school educator, helping aspiring professionals develop their careers. Carmella is committed to continuous learning and growth. Coming from a blended family, she values collaboration and adaptability, qualities that enrich both her personal and professional life. Outside of work, she enjoys living in the moment, cherishing time with family, and creating lasting memories.
With over 20 years of experience supporting accounting professionals, Melissa brings a deep understanding of client coordination, payroll, and sales tax processes. Known for her strong communication skills and friendly, approachable manner, she's built lasting relationships with clients by being reliable, responsive and dedicated. She take's pride in ensuring that all client needs are met with accuracy and care, while helping accounting teams operate smoothly and efficiently. Her commitment to professionalism and collaboration makes her a trusted point of contact in my team. Besides work, she enjoy's spending time with her family and friends.
Dara Epstein is a senior accountant and highly experienced tax professional with over 20 years in the financial industry. Her career began on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, where she developed a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and numerical analysis. She earned her Enrolled Agent (EA) designation in 2013 and became a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist in 2014. Dara is a proud member of both the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) and the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) and is recognized by the IRS for her professional expertise and commitment to the community. Known for her strategic problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail, Dara specializes in helping clients navigate complex tax situations with clarity and confidence. Outside of the office, she is an avid animal lover and music enthusiast who enjoys staying active through extreme sports — a reflection of the same energy and focus she brings to her work.
Hanh is a bookkeeper at My Tax Fella, bringing seven years of experience in various accounting departments. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vietnam before continuing her education at the College of Staten Island, where she obtained a second degree in Accounting. She is currently preparing to take the CPA exam next year. Passionate about helping others understand accounting and taxes, Hanh enjoys working out, playing tennis, and traveling with her family in her free time.
Ray is the friendly face of our Red Bank office, assisting clients with scheduling, paperwork, and inquiries. With over 40 years in international banking, he retired as a Director at a French bank in NYC before spending 11 years as an assistant manager at Williams-Sonoma in Shrewsbury. Married with two children and four grandchildren, Ray enjoys music, watercolor painting, cooking, and quality time with his grandkids.
Jeff has been with My Tax Fella since 2021 as an accountant and bookkeeper. He has his Bachelors of Accounting from NJCU and Master of Taxation from Rutgers. He has 12 years in tax preparation, accounting and bookkeeping services under his belt. Jeff also helps with providing financial advice and recommdations on what to do to better your situation. Outside of the office, he enjoys family trips and handging out with friends.
With over six years at My Tax Fella, Danielle Nuzzolo keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She began her career at just 20 years old in New York’s Financial District, gaining valuable experience on Wall Street. After taking time off to raise her twins, she returned to the workforce as an administrative assistant at an accounting firm in Red Bank, NJ, before joining our team. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and embracing a healthy lifestyle.
Alba is a valued member of My Tax Fella’s accounting team, bringing expertise in taxes and general accounting. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kean University, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration in 2021. Before joining our team, she spent four years working alongside a CPA, gaining hands-on experience in tax preparation and financial management. Outside of work, Alba enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Lorenzo helps out in our Farmingdale office with Docusign and administrative tasks. He is studying Buisness Administration at Monmouth University in hopes of becomming a business owner one day. He likes to travel and enjoys experiencing other cultures. Working alongside his father at My Tax Fella has allowed him to be able to see what it would be like to have his own business.
Patricia plays a key role in My Tax Fella’s Bookkeeping department, assisting with organization, scheduling, and client support. Before joining the firm, she built a 25-year career at Electrolux in Edison and spent 11 years with Zodiac Air Cruisers, specializing in NAFTA coordination, regulatory compliance, and electrical engineering. Her expertise includes working with industry authorities like the Federal Trade Commission and the American Home Appliance Manufacturers. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys cooking, sewing, needlecrafts, and nature photography. She and her husband restored their home, where she cares for both her own and stray cats. Committed to her community, she has served as an elected borough council member since 2012.
